NEW CAMPUS KID, SAN LAZZARO DI SAVENA

DESIGN COMPETITION – On the basis of the Masterplan proposed for the Kid Campus complex there are some concepts such as the containment of land consumption, sustainable mobility, the resilience of urban systems in order to guarantee maximum integration, accessibility and security of the area.
The morphology of the building is a direct consequence of the reading of the surrounding context, the fronts placed on the adjacent communication routes are massive in order to create a sort of physical screen that separates the heart of the campus from the surrounding traffic.
Green barriers and setbacks of the buildings have been prepared for the areas in front of the main and secondary entrances, in order to create a spatial continuity between the interior and the exterior of the buildings.
