The project involves a comprehensive refurbishment of the building, with the goal of enhancing safety, energy efficiency, and overall architectural quality. The first phase focuses on the renewal of sanitary facilities, fully upgraded with modern systems and finishes, and on fire-safety compliance through the use of certified materials and clearly defined escape routes. The ground floor is reorganized to improve functionality, while high-performance windows, a new insulated roof, and state-of-the-art heating systems ensure comfort and sustainability. The façades are also redesigned, replacing obsolete claddings with contemporary and durable timber solutions.

The second phase addresses the spatial quality of both interiors and exteriors. Classrooms and common areas, currently arranged according to outdated 1970s layouts, are reimagined through the cluster model, promoting flexibility, collaboration, and innovative teaching approaches. Outdoor areas are revitalized with redesigned pathways, green spaces, and play zones, seamlessly integrated with the indoor environment to create a more dynamic and inclusive educational setting.

Overall, the project represents a true regeneration: it combines efficiency, safety, and pedagogical innovation, delivering a modern, sustainable building aligned with contemporary needs.

L’intervento prevede una ristrutturazione integrale dell’edificio, con l’obiettivo di migliorarne sicurezza, efficienza energetica e qualità architettonica. Nella prima fase si interviene sui servizi igienici, completamente rinnovati con impianti e finiture moderne, e sull’adeguamento antincendio, con nuovi materiali e percorsi di esodo sicuri. Il piano terra viene riorganizzato per una migliore fruizione, mentre finestre ad alte prestazioni, un nuovo tetto isolato e impianti di riscaldamento di ultima generazione garantiscono comfort e sostenibilità. Anche le facciate vengono ridisegnate, sostituendo i rivestimenti obsoleti con soluzioni contemporanee e durevoli in legno.

La seconda fase riguarda invece la qualità degli spazi interni ed esterni. Le aule e le aree comuni, oggi organizzate secondo schemi degli anni Settanta, vengono ripensate con il modello a cluster, che favorisce flessibilità, collaborazione e nuove modalità didattiche. Gli spazi esterni vengono rinnovati con percorsi, aree verdi e zone di gioco in continuità con gli ambienti interni, così da creare un contesto educativo più dinamico e inclusivo.

L’intero progetto rappresenta una vera rigenerazione: unisce efficienza, sicurezza e innovazione pedagogica, restituendo un edificio moderno, sostenibile e in sintonia con le esigenze contemporanee.
