The new primary school is the heart of the educational campus “Auenland” and therefore will be as a link between the preschool facilities of the KIGA (“Kinderhaus Auenland” and “Spielwiese Kunterbunt”) and the school facilities (“Kopernikus Realschule” and “Deutschorden-Gymnasium”).
The new primary school prepares growing children for the next level of school. This attitude is made structurally recognizable with a spatial orientation of the primary school with respect to the surrounding school buildings. From the square, students enter the entrance foyer, the new “heart” of the school, then accessing the transversal builds where there are the music room, the gym, the laboratory and the library. The central location of the foyers, with adjacent builds emphasizes its function as a meeting place and communication room. Large floor to ceiling windows creates a smooth transition between common areas and outdoor areas.

La nuova scuola primaria è il cuore del campus educativo “Auenland” e sarà quindi il collegamento tra le strutture prescolari della KIGA (“Kinderhaus Auenland” e “Spielwiese Kunterbunt”) e le strutture scolastiche (“Kopernikus Realschule” e “Deutschorden-Gymnasium”).
La nuova scuola primaria prepara i bambini in crescita al livello scolastico successivo. Questo atteggiamento è reso strutturalmente riconoscibile dall’orientamento spaziale della scuola primaria rispetto agli edifici scolastici circostanti.
