PRIMARY SCHOOL “XX SETTEMBRE”

The new primary school is characterized by an architectural language which tries to respond to the different needs of its users using different shapes, different openings and a variety of colours . The building is organized on one single level, with a compact main façade towards a public square and a private part in the backyard where the position of the classrooms creates various outdoor ambient like cloisters. The movements of the roof and the use of warm materials like wood for the façades with its vivid colours underline the intention to realise a playful building. The pre-composed wooden should optimise the work on site, but at the same time improve the visual and climatic wellness inside the building guaranteeing a high environmental sustainability.
