The project stems from the clear intent of evoking the main activities of the institute. The pot is not only a reference to the utensils used in the kitchen, but is seen as a container that, thanks to its circular shape, allows to organize the school’s educational space, on the basis of shared environments, open to the community, characterized by the permeability of separations and multi-functionality. The laboratory is located on the second floor, a design choice that has made possible to treat this level as a large environment characterized by architectural quality, natural light and a panoramic view of the hills of Riolo. In this way the spaces on the ground floor remain free and flexible as well as putting an horizontal connection with the exterior to the first floor leaves room towards the paths and rest areas, connecting the project school with the existing one.
