NEW URBAN PLAN FOR MISANO WORLD CIRCUIT

The new urban plan is located near the Misano World Circuit, in the Santa Monica district, near the Circuit. The aim is to create an area with additional functions to the racetrack to increase the quality of services. Therefore making the racetrack area a world-class excellence, thanks to the creation of a green valley motor exhibition.
The intervention has an area of about 64.000 square meters, with the possible construction of 15 thousand sqm. The remaining 23.000 sqm are functions related to areas serving the Autodrome. Over 24.000 sqm are intended for public use such as roads, paths, parkings and public green areas and facilities.
The new construction will house many functions such as public establishments, shops, exhibitions areas, merchandising and catering activities. All in an area of approximately 8.000 sqm.
The common spaces, especially the ones close to the hamlet, are the focus of the plan. The goal is to ensure that the area expresses is as much as possible its call for leisure activities. An area open to all, also in consideration of the proximity to the stadium and the sports facilities.
A new public road, crossing the sector, will create a new access on Via Ca ’Raffaelli allowing the connection with the athletes access area of the stadium. Moreover, new cycle / pedestrian paths, develop in such a way as to cover the entire area; crossing it and connecting with the existing Via del Carro cycle path.
The new urban plan for the Misano World Circuit intends to create a green area that hosts services and activities connected to the Circuit.
