The project concerns the covering of the Ausa duct in Rimini, in the final stretch between the Promenade and the shoreline. The duct was an element of fracture and discontinuity of the beach. The intent of the project is to re-establish the continuity, creating an architectural element of connection that offers the people the opportunity to access to the sea directly from the street level. The chosen forms are composed by fluid paths, which widen and shrink integrating with the natural element of the sand dunes.

Il progetto riguarda la copertura della condotta Ausa a Rimini, nel tratto finale tra il Lungomare e la battigia. La condotta era un elemento di frattura e discontinuità della spiaggia. L’intento del progetto è quello di ristabilire la continuità, creando un elemento architettonico di connessione che offra ai cittadini la possibilità di accedere al mare direttamente dal livello stradale. Le forme scelte sono costituite da percorsi fluidi, che si allargano e si restringono integrandosi con l’elemento naturale delle dune di sabbia.
Benches along the way should invite to relax. The project will become a natural continuation of the new Kennedy Square, currently under construction.
