From Rome to Germany, the latest news on the Giessen construction site

Work on the new canteen for the Ludwig Uhland School in Giessen is proceeding apace. The project has reached its executive phase and the outline of the building can be glimpsed, giving a more accurate idea of the structure that will be completed by the summer 2024.

The building’s dynamic shape has been designed to dialogue with the nearby Research Centre and to fit as another contemporary component into an urban context characterised by buildings from the 1950s.

The aim of the project is to develop a building that is recognisable from the outside and attracts citizens and users.
