“Giornate europee del patrimonio culturale” at Lectorinfabula

On 27 September 2025, arch. Eduard Mijic took part in the event “Heritage and Architecture: Windows to the Past, Doors to the Future”, together with Valeria Sabatelli (Councillor for Culture, Municipality of Alberobello, UNESCO site), Antonio Lombardo (Board Member, MARTA Museum Taranto), Anna Maria Candela (Director, Department for the Protection and Promotion of Cultural Heritage, Region of Puglia), and Giuseppe Zaffuto (Directorate of Communication, Council of Europe).

The meeting, moderated by journalist Teresa Fabbricatore (TGR Rai Puglia), explored the theme of architecture as an art of building, inspired by the slogan chosen by the Council of Europe and embraced by all participating states.

It was an invitation to reflect on the cultural value of the built landscape surrounding us, and an opportunity to rediscover cultural sites as a living expression of history, culture, and the aspirations of both Italian and European communities.
