Project description

The project’s goal is to verify the opportunity of qualification of an area close to the sea, by a residential and landscape intervention. Its particular position and conformation turns the intervention area into a corridor to the sea. The result is a residential district surrounded by a park and cut by a pedestrian path, which connects the landscape to the sea and separates the public park from the private gardens. The extremes of this path are conceived as public spaces.

One with a public square with the new Sacramora springs, the other, next to the railway, with a renewal of the existing underway.
The new Sacramora square will turn into a new meeting place for the neighbourhood, from where starts the new path leading to the beach. The landscape intervention is characterized by the use of cor-ten, which defines part of the path.
