The composition of the building for the new town hall of Paratico near the lake Iseo situated in the northern Part of Italy is made of two elements:
The base is shaped out of altimetrical levels of the ground, in order to insert the building into the context in a organic and natural way, without imposing an artificial geometry, allowing at the same time an inviting entrance area for the public, formed by terraces with panoramic views on the lake and the mountains. Inside of the “base” are placed all the public facilities, like a small conference hall, youth and children spaces and shops.
The second element is the cube, where the municipality’s offices tower is located. This vertical element is covered by a soften and bright golden skin, that protects the glas fassade from the sunlight towards south end the west.  The shape and the material of this sort of skin reminiscent for the effervescence of the Franciacorta wine, produced in these areas, guarantees the recognition of the town hall building even from from far distance.
