2007 - New Fair Complex of Rimini (I)

The project for the new Rimini Fair Complex, located in the Northern area of the city, foresees works for 14 exposition pavilions, conference halls, restaurants, shops, offices and storage areas offering an exposition area of 108.000 square metres and 50.000 square metres dedicated to other services. Pavilions are realised following a repetitive modular scheme that guarantees great spatial flexibility and adaptability to a large scale of events.
Columns, pillars, walls and beams are made of stone, i.e. concrete respectively precast concrete units and prefabricated elements. The roof vault and colonnade ceilings are made of wood. Large, filigree façades steel and glass create lightness and transparency.
