2005 - New Logopedical Insitute, Johanneskirchen (D)
The building is located in a high-density building context. Due to the lack of wide spaces and the characteristics of the existing buildings, the project proposes a compact planning solution contributing to complete the current urban sequence.
The chosen architectural metaphor is the “meteorite” configuring the building as a multi-faced gigantic crystal body creating a small crater, at the moment of the impact with the soil.
The building is conceived on a central plan. Around to the multifunctional foyer, the plan alternates classrooms and workshops all with a direct access to the external green equipped areas.
