The extension of Rimini Trade Fair concerns the construction of 12 new exhibition halls, in order to accommodate a larger number of visitors. The new buildings, already in construction, will cover the courtyard between the existing pavilions, transforming it from a loading/unloading area for trucks into an inner exhibition space. The architectural typology and the choise of the materials of the new structure have been studied in a way to be integrated with the existing buildings both from the aesthetic point of view and from the functional one.

The interior space is illuminated through a large glazed surface and ribbon windows beneath the wooden roof. The new facade presents the same structural unit and architectural language as the façade of the existing pavillons of the Fair already in use.
